Muah Chee Microwave
It originally came from gina of kitchen capers and it goes like this.
Muah chee microwave. In a bowl put the grounded peanut and sesame seeds together. Divide the muah chee into 2 portions the first portion cut into small bite sizes with a pair of scissors coating each piece thoroughly with the peanut mixture. Check for even cooking. Stir until well mix.
It is best to check every 1 2 minutes as it is very easy to overcook the mochi especially in a high power i e 1200 watt microwave oven. No dough abuse required no accidental steam burns no potential leaks of filling no fuss all because of the most underrated of kitchen appliances. Knead mixture evenly using a rubber spatula. It will form a stick dough. Mix a in a covered pyrex bowl and microwave on high for 7 mins. Recipe a 250g glutinous rice flour 375ml water 2 tbsp shallot oil. I was in luck because when i googled for an easy muah chee recipe i found this microwaved version at the wonderfullittle corner of mine.

If your microwave oven is more than 1000w you can microwave your muah chee for a total of 3 minutes first and check its consistency. Microwave for 2 minutes. Return to microwave to cook for a further 1 minute. You can microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds if you prefer a softer texture i personally prefer softer muah chee.
Lol i m using microwaves method this time. So it saves lot of time. Microwave it for 1 2 minutes at a time. If your microwave oven is less than 1000w you may or may not have to reduce cooking time.
All you really need is two trays a microwave and a dough cutter and you can have muah chee ready for breakfast in under an hour. A 250g glutinous rice flour 375ml water 2 tbsp shallot oil i used peanut oil b 250g peanuts toasted and ground finely 80g sugar method. All the sudden feels like eating muah chee something fast and easy. Place the glutinous rice dough on top of the grounded peanut.
250g glutinous rice flour 350ml water 4 tbsp onion oil. Cut around the edges.
