My Clutch Pedal Is Sticking To The Floor
3 i figured out that i could use my foot to manually lift the pedal back up to the normal position but the problem keeps happening quite frequently.
My clutch pedal is sticking to the floor. Do not attempt to start the engine and drive the vehicle with the clutch pedal stuck all the way to the floor. Clutch pedals that go from the rest position to full engagement but stay on the floor and don t spring back up. One of our professional mechanics can inspect and repair your clutch system. It won t come out of gear so i just brake.
You could damage the clutch the clutch fork or the transmission. Failed clutch master cylinder. While holding the clutch pedal to the floor close the bleed screw. Make sure the clutch master cylinder is filled with brake fluid.
Driving without an operable clutch cable is not recommended. Failed clutch release bearing. Open the bleeder screw and have an assistant press the clutch pedal to the floor. If your clutch pedal goes to the floor you won t be able to engage the clutch and you won t be able to shift gears.
I m driving along and my clutch is just fine i press down to shift gears and it just goes to the floor and stays. Slowly release the clutch pedal to its fullest extension and recheck the reservoir fluid level. 2 i then tried to dip the clutch pedal but it was resting in a position unusually low down to the floor. Ok it cerainly sounds like it loss of presure in the hydraulic system when this happens this can often cause the clutch pedal to fall to the floor one of things to try as i would imagine at that year it will have hydraulic clutch system unlike old cable type is to have the system re bled and then see if that improves.
In short you ll be stuck.
