My Motherboard Touched The Carpet

My motherboard touched the carpet. These should be standing upright 90 degrees from the motherboard s surface and securely inserted around the tabs found on each side of your ram sticks. If you put on wool socks drug your feet across the carpet and picked up a motherboard there s a chance you could damage it. Not at one point has my motherboard touched the carpet or any of my components. That being said depending on the circumstances under which you touched the motherboard there still may be negligible consequences.

Do i need to plug it in because i heard you shouldn t. Ive touched my motherboard lots of times even when it is on no problem as long as there is no static. I touched it and my computer bluescreened. I m not so sure but if you have static electricity in your hands then it may harm the motherboard.
